Carrot Cake With An Indian Flavor
Ingredients
1 1/2 ts vegetable oil
1 c unbleached flour
1 ts baking soda
1/4 ts salt
2 eggs
1/4 ts cardamom seeds
1 c granulated sugar
1/4 c softened clarified butter
1 1/2 c carrots firmly packed
2 tb pistachios
2 tb blanched almonds
2 tb raisins
9 in diameter
1/2 in height with the vegetable oil
1 cup flour with the baking soda
Instructions
the top is golden red. Decorate top with edible silver foil. *
