Faylen's Bagels

Ingredients

1 package yeast
2 1/2 c warm water
7 c flour
2 ts salt
2 tb sugar
1/2 cup warm water in measuring
1/4 at a time
12 equal portions
6 cups water
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp salt in a shallow
4 bagels at a time the simmering water
1 egg mixed with
1 tbsp water
