Ganache-filled Devil's Food Cake

Ingredients

1 3/4 c boiling water
10 oz semisweet chocolate
2 c unsweetened cocoa powder
2 c sifter cake flour
2 ts baking soda
1/4 ts salt
10 oz butter
1 3/4 c packed dark brown sugar
4 eggs
4 ts vanilla
1/2 c cream
2 tb butter
2 t butter
4 1/2 c confectioners sugar
2 t milk
9 cake pans
1/2 chocolate mixture

Instructions

second layer of cake and frost the sides, and then the top. Decoratively pipe frosting around the base and top edges of the cake.
