Heirloom Walnut Icebox Cookies

Ingredients

2 1/4 c sifted flour
1/2 ts salt
1/2 ts baking soda
1 ts cinnamon
1 ts ginger
1 ts nutmeg
1/4 ts allspice
1 c butter
1/2 c granulated sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 egg
2 tb milk
42 sift flour
12 long in middle
20 sheet of wax paper
3 wide
1 1/2 high
1 1/2 on parchment paper-lined cookie shee bake at

Instructions

reversing sheets top to bottom and front to back once or twice during baking. When cookies are nicely browned and spring back when gently pressed, about 10 minutes, transfer to racks to cool. Store in airtight containers. ----
