Lady Bird Johnson's Famous Lemon Cake

Ingredients

3/4 c butter
2 1/4 c sugar
11 egg yolks
1 1/2 c cake flour
3 ts baking powder
1/4 ts salt
3 1/4 c milk
2 ts vanilla
1 ts lemon rind
1 ts lemon juice
2 c powdered sugar
1/4 c margarine
1 lemon
2 ts cream
3 egg whites
3 tb sugar
3 times
325 in bundt
3 greased

Instructions

pans at 350~. ICING-Combine all lemon icing ingredients and spread on cake. ----
