Maple Nut Rugelach
Ingredients
4 oz cream cheese softened
3/8 c butter
5/8 c sugar
4 tb maple syrup
1/4 ts salt
1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c flour
1 filling
1 c fine walnuts
1/8 ts cinnamon
1 egg
1 ts water
1 ts sugar
6 ingredients in bowl until smooth
4 ingredien divide dough in
1/2 on a floured surface
10 circle
16 pie shaped
350 oven
Instructions
cool. Store airtight for up to 2 days. Almonds or pecans may be substitiuted for walnuts. ----
