6 ounces tomato paste
32 ounces kidney beans
4 cups onion

COMBINE BEEF, SAUSAGE, AND GARLIC IN A LARGE STOCKPOT SAUTE FOR 10-15 MINUTES, UNTIL BROWNED ADD REMAINING INGREDIENTS, EXCEPT BEANS SIMMER FOR 60 MINUTES ADD KIDNEY BEANS AND SIMMER FOR ANOTHER 30-60 MINUTES SERVE HOT, GARNISHED AS DESIRED
