Place beans and salt in a saucepan; cover with water. Bring to a boil; boil for 2 min. Remove from the heat; cover and let stand for 1 hour. drain, reserving liquid. combine beans, 1 cup liquid and the remaining ingredients in a greased 2-1/2 qt baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1-1/4 hours or until beans are tender, stirring occasionally (add additional reserved liquid if needed).
