Oatmeal Butterscotch Chews

3/4 c granulated sugar
3/4 c packed brown sugar
3 tb maple syrup
1 egg
1 ts vanilla
1 3/4 c all purpose flour
1 ts baking soda
1 ts salt
3 c quick oats
1 c milk chocolate chips
2 crisp toffee chocolate bars
