Shellfish Shell Marinara

some sugar
3 tb extra-virgin olive oil
2 garlic sloces
1/4 c dry wine
1/4 c coarsely parsley
1/4 c basil leaves
12 oz sized shell pasta
20 littleneck clams
1/2 lb shrimp
Instructions
