Tea Cakes

Ingredients

6 eggs
4 c sugar
4 ts vanilla extract
1 1/2 c buttermilk
1 ts baking soda
8 c self rising flour

Instructions

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add baking soda to buttermilk and flour. Add other ingredients. Form into large soft ball and roll 1/8" thick. Cut with floured cutter. Bake until light brown. ----
