3 c brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 ts baking soda
1 1/4 c sour milk
2 3/8 c all purpose flour
1 ts baking powder
1 ts cinnamon
1/2 ts nutmeg
3/4 ts salt
1 ts vanilla extract
2 egg whites
1/2 c nuts
1 1/4 tablespoon vinegar
1 cream shortening
2 dissolve baking soda in sour milk
3 combine all remaining
13 baking
4 prepare meringue beat egg whites until stiff
5 bake in preheated
350 degree oven for about
