Ingredients
- 16 bag caramels
- 170 gr margarine
- 160 ml evaporated milk
- 150 gr chocolate chips
- 140 gr pecans
- 1 package german chocolate cake mix
Combine cake mix, one third cup evaporated milk and melted margarine. Spread half of mixture in bottom of 9 x 33 cm cake pan. Bake 5 minutes at 180ºC F. Heat the caramels and one third cup evaporated milk until melted. On the baked layer, spread the pecans and chocolate chips and the melted caramels and milk mixture. Top with the other half of cake batter. Bake 20 minutes at 180ºC F.
