Ingredients
- 1 chicken stewed
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup chicken broth from stewed chicken
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Stew Chicken and margarine (may use butter) until tender. Remove bones. Reserve liquids. Combine dumplin' ingredients until all well blended. Roll onto lightly floured board. Cut into strips. Then into squares.
Bring liquid in chicken to a boil. Drop dumplins' into liquid. Let stew about 10 20 minutes, covered. Do not remove lid.
