Ingredients
- 3 c warm water
- 1 1/2 lb beef (ground)
- 3/4 c nonfat dry milk
- 1/2 c flour
- 2 tsp beef-flavored instant
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
Note: Whole milk can be substituted for the dry milk and water. Brown beef in its own fat in skillet. Drain excess fat. Add flour, pepper, salt and bouillon to beef; mix thoroughly and cook about 5 minutes or until flour is absorbed. Reconstitute milk; add to beef mixture. Add Worcestershire sauce; heat to a simmer, stirring frequently until thickened. Serve over hot toast or biscuits.
