Ingredients
- 20 oreo chocolate sandwich cookies
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/8 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup blue bonnet margarine
- 1 tbsp davis baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; set aside. In small bowl, combine milk, sour cream and egg; stir into flour mixture with margarine until just blended. Gently stir in cookies. Spoon batter in to 12 grease 2 1/2-inch muffin-pan cups. Bake at 400F for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack. Serve warm or cold. Makes 1 dozen muffins.
