Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 250 gr all purpose flour
- 250 gr sugar
- 150 gr apples (peeled finely grated)
- 110 gr butter
- 60 gr walnuts (chopped)
- 9 gr baking powder
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr cinnamon
- 1 gr nutmeg
Preheat over to 350 deg F.
Sift together first 5 ingredients and set aside. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each. Stir in dry ingredients, half at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in apple. Fold in nuts. Pour into well greased and floured 9 x 5 x 8 cm loag pan. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until done. Cool in pan for 10 minutes and turn out onto wire rack. Cool completely before slicing.
