Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 ice cream
- 1 c packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c all purpose flour
- 3/4 c sour cream
- 1/2 c shortening
- 3 ts cinnamon (ground)
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1 ts baking powder
- 1/4 ts salt
Grease and flour 9x9x2" pan. Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt in large bowl. Cut in shortening using pastry blender until mixture is size of small peas; reserve 1/3 cup. Beat in sour cream, baking soda, baking powder and eggs until well blended. Spoon into pan; spread evenly. Sprinkle reserved flour mixture over batter. Bake 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Top each serving with ice cream and Apple Cider Sauce. ----
