Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 mixed candied fruit
- 2 1/2 c unsifted flour
- 1 c nuts
- 1 ts baking soda
Preheat oven to 300`F. Grease a 9-inch tube pan; line with wax paper and grease again (or use generously greased and floured 10-inch fluted tub pan). Sift together flour and baking soda; set aside. In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients; blend in dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1 hour and 45 to 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Turn out of pan; remove wax paper. Glaze and garnish as desired.
