Ingredients
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- 2 pounds beef (lean ground)
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup onion (grated)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Soak the bread crumbs in the milk. Add the ground beef, eggs, onion and= seasonings; mix well. Form the meat mixture into a loaf and place in a= loaf pan. Bake in a 350=F8F oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Catsup or barbecue= sauce may be spread over the top of the meat loaf before baking. Bake= potatoes at the same time by starting them 15 minutes before meatloaf.
