Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 2 c applesauce
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 c flour
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1/2 c chocolate chips
- 1/2 c nuts
- 3 tb sugar
- 3 tb cocoa
- 2 ts soda
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1/2 ts cinnamon
Recipe by: LELAND (CGVH43B) Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add applesauce. Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Pour into a greased 9 x 13" baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar, chocolate chips and nuts. Bake 350 for 40 min. ----
