Ingredients
- 12 c puffed wheat cereal
- 2 c brown sugar
- 1 c corn syrup
- 1 c evaporated milk
- 3/8 c sugar
- 2 tb butter
Place cereal in a large bowl; set aside. In a heavy saucepan, bring brown sugar and corn syrup to a boil. Add butter. Combine evaporated milk and sugar; add to boiling mixture; add to a boiling mixture and continue cooking until a soft ball forms when liquid is dropped into cold water (240�F on a candy thermometer).
