Ingredients
- 1 1/4 sweet cherries
- 1 egg
- 325 gr flour
- 300 ml milk
- 140 gr cheddar cheese
- 110 gr brown sugar
- 100 gr sugar
- 14 gr baking powder
- 16 ml oil
- 3 gr salt
Combine flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt. Combine milk, egg and oil; pour over dry ingredients and stir just enough to dampen. Gently fold in cherries and cheese. Pour into greased 9.25 X 5.25 X 7 cm loaf pan. Bake at 180ÂșC 55-65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on rack 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely before serving. Serve at room temperature, or toasted.
