Ingredients
- 9 pastry shell
- 4 eggs
- 1 unbaked
- 1 additional nutmeg recipe by southern living (ground)
- 525 ml milk
- 130 gr sugar
- 4 gr vanilla extract
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr nutmeg (ground)
Bake pastry shell at 200ºC or 5 minutes. Let cool. Combine eggs, sugar, vanilla, salt, and quarter teaspoon nutmeg; beat until blended. Gradually stir in milk; mix well. Pour filling into pastry shell; sprinkle with additional nutmeg. Bake at 200ºC or 15 minutes; reduce heat to 325 degrees, and bake an additional 35 minutes or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool to room temperature before serving. Store in ----
