Ingredients
- 12 eggs
- 1 lemon rind
- 500 gr flour
- 425 gr butter
- 375 gr powdered sugar
- 325 gr raisins
- 210 gr currants
- 45 ml milk
- 2 gr nutmeg
Mix one cup of flour with the fruit. Cream the butter until soft. Add the lemon rind and nutmeg. Add the flour, sugar and eggs alternately. Lastly mix in the fruit. Drop by teaspoons so that they look like little cakes. Bake at 230ºC until brown, about 5-8 minutes and then reduce the heat to 180ºC for another 5-8 minutes or until they look done. ----
