Ingredients
- 2 cereal flakes
- 1 egg
- 350 ml buttermilk
- 250 gr flour
- 170 gr raisins
- 65 gr sugar
- 50 gr shortening melted
- 9 gr baking powder
- 2 gr salt
- 1 gr baking soda
Dredge raisins in small amount of flour, sift dry ingredients together and add raisins and cereal. Beat eggs slightly, add milk and melted shortening, blend well with first mixture but do not overmix. Bake in greased loaf pan 180ÂșC . about 1 hour. Note: Type of cereal not given, corn or bran could probably be used.
