Ingredients
- 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups milk
- 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
Preheat oven 400. Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in cheese and dill. Add milk and eggs; mix just until moistened. Spoon into 4 well greased 6x31/2 in loaf pans; bake at 400 35 to 40 min. Makes 4 loaves. Try some other type pans and glass baking dishes. If another type pan is used watch bread so as not to over or undercook.
