Ingredients
- 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 500 gr flour
- 475 ml milk
- 450 gr sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 110 gr margarine
- 26 gr sugar
- 14 gr baking powder
- 3 gr salt
- 2 gr dill weed
Preheat oven 400. Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs; stir in cheese and dill. Add milk and eggs; mix just until moistened. Spoon into 4 well greased 6x 15.5 in loaf pans; bake at 400 35 to 40 min. Makes 4 loaves. Try some other type pans and glass baking dishes. If another type pan is used watch bread so as not to over or undercook.
