Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cups milk
- 1 c corn meal (yellow)
- 1 c all purpose flour
- 6 tb liquid shortening
- 2 tb sugar
- 3 ts baking powder
- 1 t salt
Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add egg YOLKS, milk and shortening. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in waffle iron until done.
