Ingredients
- 4 eggs (slightly beaten)
- 1 lb beef
- 1 c milk
- 1 1/2 c cheese (shredded)
- 1 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 3 slices bread buttered
- some garlic
Spread ground beef in a 8 inch x 8 inch x 2-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with salt. Bake in 350 degrees F oven for 15 minutes. Drain. Mix eggs, mustard, garlic, milk and flour. Pour over hot beef. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over all. Cover the top evenly with toasted bread squares. Bake until cheese custard is set, 30 to 35 minutes. Serves 6.
