Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c maple syrup
- 2 1/4 c flour
- 1 c nuts (chopped)
- 1/2 c milk
- 1/2 c sugar (white)
- 1/2 c soft shortening
- 3 t baking powder
- 1 t salt
Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Add syrup, shortening and milk; beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes. Add choppeed nuts and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9" pans. Bake in 350� oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Frost. By Pamela Graves Serves 18
