Ingredients
- 1/2 c pistachios
- 2 tb honey
- 2 tb butter
- 1/2 ts lemon juice
- 1/4 ts cinnamon
- 1/2 packages puff pastry sheets (frozen)
Thawed (17 oz pk) Combine pistachios, honey, lemon juice, cinnamon and cloves. Unfold puff pastry; roll 1/8-inch thick into a 12" square. Cut pastry in half; brush with melted butter. Spread pistachio filling over 1/2 of each pastry lengthwise; fold unspread half of pastry over filling, press down. Using sharp knife, cut into 3 x 3-3/4" strips. Twist strips; place on baking sheet. Bake at 350~ for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned. (Tops can be glazed or sprinkled with powdered sugar.) Makes approximately 24 twists. ----
