Ingredients

- 2 eggs
- 300 gr sugar
- 250 gr cake flour
- 150 gr bananas
- 140 gr shortening
- 120 ml buttermilk
- 65 gr pecans
- 5 ml soda
- 5 gr baking powder
- 4 gr vanilla
- 1 gr salt
Cream together shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs; beat 2 minutes. Add mashed bananas; beat 2 minutes. Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture along with buttermilk and vanilla. Beat 2 minutes. Stir in nuts. Pour into 2 greased and floured 23 cm round layer cake pans. Bake 25-30 minutes.
