Ingredients
- 2 tbls sugar
- 2 deep dish pie crusts (frozen)
- 575 gr apples
- 80 gr walnuts
- 65 gr cinnamon candies (red hot)
- 40 gr flour
In large bowl, toss together apples, walnuts, candies, one third cup sugar and flour. Pour into one frozen pie crust. Break or crumble the other frozen pie crust into very small pieces; toss with remaining 2 tbls sugar. Sprinkle over apples. Bake in preheated 190ÂșC oven on a preheated baking sheet 55-60 minutes or until candies melt and bubble through the crumbled crust. Cool completely before serving. ----
