Ingredients
- 6 green peppers
- 1 sharp american ch (shredded)
- 1 fat
- 475 gr stewed tomatoes
- 260 gr steak (ground)
- 90 gr packaged precooked rice
- 40 gr onions (chopped)
- 10 ml worcester shire sauce
Cut off tops of green peppers; remove seeds and membrane. Precook green-peppers in boiling salted water about 5 min. Drain. Sprinkle inside with salt. Brown meat and onion in hot fat; add tomatoes, rice, worcester shire, and salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer till rice is almost tender, about 5 min. Add cheese. Stuff peppers; stand upright in 10 x 15 cm baking dish. Bake uncovered in moderate oven 350 deg. 25 min. or till hot. Sprinkle tops with additional shredded cheese. Makes 6 servings.
