Ingredients
- 5 eggs
- 1 pimentos well (diced drained)
- 350 gr butter type (finely crushed)
- 250 gr swiss cheese (shredded)
- 240 ml whipping cream
- 190 gr unsifted all-purpose flour
- 150 gr butter flavor shortening
- 150 gr ham (chopped cooked)
- 90 gr sausage (cooked)
- 90 gr pepperoni (diced)
- 90 gr thinly green onions (sliced)
- 7 gr snipped parsley (fresh)
- 3 gr salt
- 1 gr pepper
Preheat oven to 200ºC or crust, combine flour and cracker crumbs. Cut in butter flavor shortening until mixture resembles coarse corn meal. Sprinkle wi th half cup water, a tablespoon at a time. Toss with fork until crumbs are compl etely moistened. Press mixture into bottom of ungreased 15 x 10 x 3 cm pan. P rick crust with a fork. Sprinkle Swiss cheese, ham, onions, parsley, and pimien tos evenly over crust. Beat eggs, cream, half and half, salt, and pepper. Pour over filled crust. Bake at 200ºC or 25 to 30 minutes or until set. Cool for 5 minutes. Cut in 1.5 by 5 cm pieces. Serve warm. Makes 50 appetizers.
