Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 350 gr beef (lean ground)
- 190 gr pork (lean ground)
- 120 ml milk
- 60 gr converted rice
- 30 ml ketchup
- 30 gr onion
- 16 ml worcestershire sauce
- 2 ml dry mustard
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr thyme (dried)
- 1 gr pepper
- 1 gr marjoram (dried)
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together until well blended. Pack into a 9x5 (2L) loaf pan, cover with foil, and bake at 180ºC 180C for 1- quarter to 1- half hrs (removing foil after 30 mins), or until loaf is well-browned and meat is cooked through with an internal temperature of 40ºC 70C. Even when cooked through, meat will still be slightly pink because of the ketchup. Drain off fat, and let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing to serve.
