Ingredients
- 2 c chicken broth
- 1 c pear barley (uncooked)
- 3/8 c cinnamon (minced fresh)
- 1/4 c thinkly green (sliced)
- 2 ts vegetable oil
- 1/2 ts salt
- 1/8 ts nutmeg (ground)
Heat Oil in A 1 Quart Saucepan Over Medium Heat Just Until Hot, Not Smoking. Add Barley & Cook 5 Min. OR Until Browned, Stirring Constantly. Add Chicken Broth & Salt, Bring To A Boil. Cover & Reduce Heat & Simmer 30 Min. OR Until Barley Is Tender And Liquid Is Absorbed. Remove From Heat. Stir in Basil, Green Onions & Nutmeg. Fat 1.6. Chol. O.
