Ingredients
- 475 ml chicken broth
- 200 gr pear barley (uncooked)
- 40 gr cinnamon (minced fresh)
- 30 gr thinkly green (sliced)
- 10 ml vegetable oil
- 1 gr salt
- 1 gr nutmeg (ground)
Heat Oil in A 1 litre Saucepan Over Medium Heat Just Until Hot, Not Smoking. Add Barley & Cook 5 Min. OR Until Browned, Stirring Constantly. Add Chicken Broth & Salt, Bring To A Boil. Cover & Reduce Heat & Simmer 30 Min. OR Until Barley Is Tender And Liquid Is Absorbed. Remove From Heat. Stir in Basil, Green Onions & Nutmeg. Fat 1.6. Chol. O.
