Ingredients
- 3 sized firm bananas
- 1/4 firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon rind (grated)
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1 dash nutmeg
Melt butter or oleo in a heavy skillet. Add brown sugar, lemon rind, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Peel bananas and slice in half length-wise. Place bananas in skillet, cook over low heat 2 to 3 minutes, turning once. Serve warm. Makes 6 servings.
