Ingredients
- 1 1/2 apples (sliced raw)
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c young carrots pared
- 1/2 c seedless raisins
- 3 tb flour
- 1 ts orange rind (grated)
- 1/8 ts cinnamon
- 1/8 ts nutmeg
Cook carrots in salted water until barely tender. Mix all ingredients lightly. Put into pastry lined pie pan, sprinkle with 1 tsp flour and dot with 1 tsp butter. Cover with pastry. bake about 30 minutes in a very hot oven, 425 or until apples are tender ----
