Ingredients
- 12 cranberries (fresh)
- 6 apples
- 3/4 c sugar
- 1/2 c orange juice
- 2 tb cornstarch
- 1 ts pumpkin pie spice
Pastry for two crust pie Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Sort and wash cranberries. Put cranberries, sugar, orange juice, pie spice and cornstarch in a sauce pan. Stir to dissolve cornstarch. bring to a boil and cook over low heat until thickened and the cranberries have poppe * I prefer Granny Smith apples but this is good with any kind. Note: This pie is quite tart and you may want to increase the sugar to one cup if you don't appreciate tart desserts and the full flavor of cranberries. ----
