Ingredients
- 3 oatmeal
- 2 eggs
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 c granulated sugar
- 1 c shortening
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/2 c nuts (chopped)
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1 ts vanilla extract
- 1 ts salt
Combine first 6 ingredients and mix well. Combine last 4 and blend into first mixture. Form into rolls and chill. Slice and bake at 375 10-15 minutes. When stored in air tight container they remain crisp. When loosely covered they are soft and chewy Pat Dwigans ----
