Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 c pumpkin puree
- 1 c sugar (white)
- 1 c unbleached flour
- 1/2 c brown sugar
- 5/8 c wheat flour (whole)
- 3/8 c apple juice
- 3/8 c butter
- 1 ts baking soda
- 1/4 ts baking powder
- 1/2 ts cinnamon
- 1/4 ts allspice
Preheat oven to 350. Cream sugars and butter together. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Mix the flours, baking powder, soda, salt and spices. Add alternately to creamed mixture with cider and pumpking. Beat well. Turn into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake for 1 hour until bread tests done.
