In large bowl, mix the first 4 ingredients. Add shortening or oil, vanilla, vinegar and water. Mix well. Batter will be thin. Pour into ungreased 28 cm x 23 cm pan and bake in 350 degree oven for 35-45 minutes. Leave in pan. Frost with your favorite frosting. ----
