- 7 granny smith apples
- 250 gr flour
- 200 gr sugar crust mix shortening
- 80 ml boiling water
- 75 gr butter
- 65 gr shortening
- 65 gr butter
- 22 gr butter
- 3 gr cinnamon
- 2 gr baking powder
- 1 gr salt
boiling water,salt and baking powder.Mix well.Separate into 2 balls; place between 2 pieces of wax paper;roll. Filling: Peel,core and slice apples.Lightly mix cinnamon and sugar with the apples.Heap into pastry lined pie pan and dot with 1.5 tablespoon. butter.Cover with topping crust;slit to allow steam to escape.Bake 60 to 75 minutes @ 425 degrees. ----
