Ingredients
- 1,900 ml water
- 500 gr navy beans (dried)
- 500 gr stewed tomatoes (canned)
- 180 gr onion (diced)
- 26 gr celery (diced)
- 14 gr calorie margarine (reduced)
- 3 gr salt
Sort and wash beans; place in a large Dutch oven. Cover with water 5 cm above beans; soak overnight. Drain beans. Combine beans and 2 litre water; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 2 hours. Saute' onion and celery in margarine until tender; add onion mixture, tomatoes, and salt to bean mixture, stirring well.
