Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 oatmeal
- 325 gr flour
- 230 gr butter
- 220 gr brown sugar
- 200 gr sugar (white)
- 170 gr raisins
- 100 gr pecans (chopped)
- 65 gr wheat germ for more healthful cookies
- 9 gr baking soda
- 4 gr vanilla extract
- 3 gr salt
- 3 gr cinnamon (ground)
Combine eggs, raisins and vanilla and let stand for one hour, covered with plastic wrap. Cream together butter and sugars. Add flour, salt, cinnamon and soda to sugar mixture. Mix well. Blend in egg-raisin mixture, oatmeal, wheat germ and chopped nuts. Dough will be stiff. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet or roll into small balls and flatten sightly on cookie sheet. Bake at 180ÂșC or 10 to dozen minutes or until lightly browned. Note: Delicious! Secret is soaking of raisins.
