Ingredients
- 6 apples
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 350 ml cranberry juice
- 300 gr sugar
- 60 ml lemon juice
Wash and core apples; slice unpeeled into thick slices. Place in flat pan. Combine remaining ingredients, and boil 5 minutes. Reserve quarter cup juice mixture, and set aside. Pour remaining juice mixture over apple slices. Bake at 180ºC or 45 minutes or until apples slices appear transparent; baste occasionally with the quarter cup juice mixture. Serve Hot or Cold as a garnish for your Salad. Or by itself: Yield: 12.5 cup serving. Each serving may be exchanged for: -20ºC ruit.
