Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 700 gr beef (ground)
- 425 ml tomato sauce divided
- 110 gr dry bread crumbs
- 100 gr sugar
- 30 ml vinegar
- 28 gr brown sugar
- 10 ml prepared mustard
- 3 gr salt
- 2 gr instant onion see note (minced)
- 1 gr pepper
Mix together beef, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and eggs. Add onion and half of the tomato sauce. Form into a loaf in a 9-in x 5-in x 3-in pan. Bake at 180ÂșC for 50 minutes. In saucepan, combine sugars, vinegar, mustard and remaining tomato sauce. Bring to a boil. Pour over meat loaf; bake 10 minutes more.
